Atai Golineh 
TV Journalist, WDR/ARD, Cologne, Germany. At the age of five, Atai moved with her parents from Iran to Germany and grew up in Hoffenheim. After graduation, she completed her studies at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg (1993 to 2000) with a master's degree in Romance Studies, Political Science and Iranian Studies and then became a journalist. From 2006 to 2008 she worked for the ARD as a correspondent in Cairo. From 2010 to 2011 Atai was an editor at the ARD Morgenmagazin. From December 2011 she worked as an editor and reporter at the Tagesschau for the WDR in Cologne. From February 2013 to summer 2018, she worked for the ARD as a correspondent in Moscow. During the Euromaidan in Ukraine Atai from Kiev reported for the ARD. In a contribution to the World Mirror, she documented manipulative practices of Russian and Ukrainian television stations. In the summer of 2018, Golineh Atai returned to the newsroom editorial department of WDR. 

In 2015 Golineh was recognised as journalist of the year.
